It is an initiative of Prayas Energy group which aims to provide evidence based feedback about the actual electricity supply quality. Workshop on Introduction to Bash and Python

Information Technology Department organized workshop on ‘Introduction to Bash and Python’ on 9-Jan-2016 (Saturday) at 9:00 am. This workshop was intended to give the participants hands-on experience in BASH and Python programming. This will also enable them to use shell scripts in system administration. After completion of this workshop participants will be in a position to apply this knowledge to develop small applications such as Dictionary, Calculator etc.

Add on course on Sensing and Control using Intel Galileo in E&TC Dept.

Add on course on Sensing and Control using Intel Galileo is organized by Electronics and Telecommunication Department on 9-Jan-2016 (Saturday) at 8:30 AM. The course includes Theory sessions, hands on experience and development of small projects based on Intel Galileo Gen2 board in a group of 2 or 3 students.

Course Objectives:
1.To explore capabilities of Intel Galileo Gen2 Boards .
2.Study of signal acquisition and conditioning.
2.To understand specifications of Galileo development Board.
3.To understand Arduino hardware and programming environment.
4.To develop an application using the board

The Documentary screening based on topic “China’s Ancient Machines” will be screened for students on 9-Jan-2016 (Saturday) at 10:45 am. This will help them understand the history of Mechanical Engineering and make their thought process wide about the Mechanical Engineering.
