An industrial visit of B.E. (Polymer) students to APPL Industries Ltd. at Hinjewadi, Pune was organized by Polymer Engineering Department. Prof.Mrs. Deepali S. Kulkarn, Prof. Mrs. Pallavi T. Tatpate, Prof. Ms. Sheetal Lanjewar, Mrs. Manjusha Shedge, Mr. A. Patil and Mr. Baba Shaikh participated in the visit. APPL was established in the year 1990. In a span of just two decades APPL has become one of the leading compounder of engineered thermoplastics in India with an enviable production capacity of 100,000 MTPA. APPL has been providing material solutions to the Indian Auto Manufacturing Units, which is at par with the global standards.
