Seminar on professional ethic connecting college to campus

Department of E&TC has organized a seminar on professional ethic connecting college to campus. Sunil Patil has trained the students of final year E&TC on various topics which are very important in the corporate world. Total 90 students attended the workshop.

The workshop was held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (18-20 July 2016) for 7 hrs. from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The schedule of the workshop was divided into six sections.

The six sections were:

Introduction to Corporate Culture: Corporate culture refers to the beliefs and behaviors that determine how a company’s employees and management interact and handle outside business transactions.

Motivation and its impact: Organizations wish to perform successfully in the market and if possible to have a sustainable economic growth. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact produced by the motivation of employees on organizational effectiveness. Personnel motivation will involve criteria such as employees’ bonus, good communication within the working premises, and satisfaction at their job place.

Stress and Time Management: The aim of good time management is to achieve the lifestyle balance you want. Good time management at work means doing high-quality work, not high quantity.

Soft skills: Soft skills is a term often associated with a person’s “EQ” (emotional intelligence quotient), which is the cluster of personality traits that characterize one’s relationships with other people. These skills can include social graces, communication abilities, language skills, personal habits, cognitive or emotional empathy, and leadership traits.

Interview Handling Skills: Even the smartest and most qualified job seekers need to prepare for job interviews. So, there are 10 strategies to enhance your interview skills.

Resume Writing: Everyone needs a resume when job hunting. Writing a resume is a daunting task.
